Initiated into the Theta Eta Chapter in Spring 1996 at Florida State University. Majored in chemistry with a minor in biology. Extensively involved in research during my undergraduate years, primarily in the fields of molecular biophysics and chemistry. Anthony Powell was heavily involved in community service and promotion of scholastic achievement on the undergraduate and provincial levels while at Theta Eta. Powell is a recipient of the Guy Levis Grant and Byron K. Armstrong Awards in 1997. Dr. Powell received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 2002. Immediately following medical school, he completed an internship in surgery and medicine transitional program at St. Vincents Hospital Manhattan, in New York. Currently, Dr. Anthony Powell is in radiology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
