Derek Robinson is the national director of the Kappa Alpha Psi Achievement Academy. Brother Robinson was initiated at the Beta Iota Chapter in 1996 (Spring). He has served as Junior Vice Polemarch of the Southwestern Province (1997-98) and is a charter life member of the Southwestern Province. He is a member of the Chicago Alumni Chapter where is the Asst. Director of the Chicago Kappa Leadership Institute. Dr. Robinson is a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of Chicago Hospitals where he also served as a flight physician for UCAN and AXA Assistance International. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Howard University College of Medicine, and Xavier University of Louisiana. Robinson’s interests include: emergency
airway management, organized emergency medicine, premedical/medical
education, and improvement in access to medical care. From 2004
to 2006, he served on the board of directors of the Emergency Medicine
Resident’s Association (EMRA) as the EMRA representative to
the board of directors of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Brother Robinson is also a member of the 2007 MBA class at the University
of Chicago Graduate School of Business. |
