Interest Groups & Activities
POLICY
No chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,
Inc. shall maintain, endorse or affiliate with any male interest
group, such as Men Interested in Kappa {MIKs} or Those Inclined
Kappa {TIKs}.
No chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,
Inc. shall maintain, endorse or affiliate with any female
support group, such as Kappa Kittens.
No chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,
Inc. shall encourage the independent formation of a male
or female interest group as defined above.
No chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,
Inc. shall engage in any activities that may be interpreted
as pledge activities other than activities that are consistent
with the Membership Intake Program adopted by the Grand Board.
Failure to comply with any provision herein
may result in disciplinary action including the recalling
of a chapter charter.
RATIONALE
The Policy is an editorial revision of previous
policies adopted 11 February 1978. It has been expanded to
include pledge activities and the unofficial pledging of
sweethearts courts.
