Brother E. Delane Rosemond, a native of Seneca, South Carolina is a practicing attorney in Seneca, South Carolina. Brother Rosemond attended the University of South Carolina and received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice in 1990.
After working at the Greenville County Sheriff's Office for a period of five years and receiving the prestigious "Rookie of the Year" award, he wanted to reach higher heights. Wanting to sail with the "big ships," Brother Rosemond left the world of law enforcement in 1995 and entered the University of South Carolina School of Law. In 1998, he received his Jurist Doctor degree.
After practicing law in Columbia, South Carolina, Brother Rosemond accepted the opportunity to become the general counsel at the Southwestern Athletic Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. Brother Rosemond was in charge of the legal and business affairs for the SWAC, which is the home of ten historically black colleges and universities.
In January 2002, Brother Rosemond founded the Rosemond Law Firm based in
Seneca, South Carolina.
Brother Rosemond is a member of the Greenville Alumni Chapter, in Greenville, South Carolina, where he has served as Polemarch, a member of the Board of Directors and Social Committee Chairman.
Brother Rosemond has served as the Southeastern Senior Province Vice Polemarch, a member of the Province Board of Directors, the nominating committee chairman and the risk management chairman.
Brother Rosemond is a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Westminster, South Carolina where he serves on the Trustee Board.
Brother Rosemond is married to the former Tonya Jones, of Taylors, South Carolina and they are the proud parents of one son, Edward Delane Rosemond, II.
