Love Denton, Jr. was born on March 28, 1947 as the eldest of Sarah McClelland Denton and Love Denton, Sr. He grew up in an area of Oklahoma City affectionately known by its residents as “Sandtown”.

Martin Luther Andrews

Martin Luther Andrews was born on June 9, 1932 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and was a 1951 graduate of Douglass High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After graduation he enlisted into the United States Army and served his country proudly.

The first African-American member of Congress from the state of Ohio, transitioned to the Chapter Invisible, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the age of 90. Retired Congressman Stokes was initiated at the Cleveland State University, January 19, 1948, the Alpha Omega of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. transitioned into Chapter Invisible. Brother Hicks penned his last story as Editor of the Kappa Journal. Brother Hicks was a renowned journalist and civic leader of Brooklyn, NY. Brother Hicks,
serving his second term as Kappa Journal Editor, raised the editorial quality of the Journal to be competitive to any similar publication in the world.

George M. Richardson
(1913 – 2015)

Distinguished Educator in Oklahoma, Virginia and Maryland
George M. Richardson, a dynamic educator, joined the Chapter Invisible on June 12, 2015. He had attained the age of 102 years old and had been a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., for over 81 years.  Brother Richardson was born March 1, 1913 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Professor and Clara Hodge Richardson.

Ronald R. Young, a resident of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15th at his home. He was a native of Chester, SC and a beloved son of the late John W. Young and the living Alberta "Peaches" Young.
