GRAND POLEMARCH DWAYNE M. MURRAY, ESQ. ANNOUNCES
FIFTH STOP ON INAUGURAL "LISTENING TOUR" AND VISIT TO ST.
JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL
(Memphis, TN) November 1, 2007 - The beginning of the "Second
100 Days" of the 31st Administration will be as engaging as
the "First 100 Days," exclaimed Richard Lee Snow, Executive
Director/COO of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. In keeping
with his promise to be visible and open to dialogue with the
membership of the fraternity, the 31st Grand Polemarch, Dwayne
M. Murray, Esq., announced he would be conducting the fifth
Inaugural Listening Tour session in Memphis, Tennessee. Members
of the Leadership Team will also visit the St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital, where the fraternity has established a
unique partnership making it the largest African-American
supporter of the hospital.
The listening sessions of each "Listening Tour" are designed
to provide "a unique combination of formal conferences and
informal discussions with the membership of Kappa throughout
the United States," stated Murray. "The first four have been
well attended and informative." Traveling with the Grand Polemarch
will be Senior Grand Vice Polemarch, W. Randy Bates, Jr.,
Esq.; Executive Director/COO, Richard Lee Snow; Chief Administrative
Officer, Dr. Chuck Carr Brown; and Chief of Staff to the Grand
Polemarch, Emerson A. Lattimore. Each will cover specific
areas of the administration (Province operations, chapter
oversight, day to day operations of IHQ, Protocol and Etiquette,
communications, etc…). The Polemarch of the South Central
Province, Willie F. Brooks, a Memphis native, will round out
the Leadership Team.
Attendees for the Listening Tour will include members of Memphis
Alumni, Kappa Beta (University of Memphis) and Beta Mu (Lemoyne
College) and various other Chapters in the middle Tennessee

Additional highlights of the visit include a stop at the St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital and a meeting with key members
of its Senior Management Team. There will also be a meeting
with 15 or more pastors from the Memphis area in support of
the National Sunday of Hope and initiative in support of St.
Jude, scheduled for January 2008. National St. Jude Chairman,
P. Jerry Siegel will be on hand for both key strategic meetings.
